Identity plate of a man from the class of 1907, first enlisted in the 149th Infantry Regiment.
Mobilized on August 4, 1914 in the 109th Infantry Regiment
Missing on August 24, 1914 in Sainte Marie aux Mines, prisoner of war in Offenburg. Hospitalized on May 19, 1916 in Switzerland following a gunshot wound to the leg.
Repatriated on April 18, 1918 then transferred to the 1st Zouave Regiment on July 10, 1918
